Symbiosis of Emotional Design and Nordic Precision
The first significant design solution in Il Bagno Alessi was born in collaboration with Italian architect and designer Stefano Giovannoni in 2002, introducing a completely new approach to bathroom culture. Inspired by psychoanalyst Franco Fornari’s theory of emotions, they created sanitary ceramics with a round and soft shape expressing health, care, relaxation, and rejuvenation. One of the results of this collaboration was a unique floor-standing pedestal washbasin, reflecting Laufen’s commitment to innovation and design quality. Laufen’s products are truly special, combining aesthetics and functionality to create bathrooms that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to use.
